It says linkbucks when I go to your page, all your info is gone.”) So I checked it to find out. Oh my, it’s true. I immediately contacted friendster support and within the day I got replied. It was a comment with malicious scripts from Philip. I don’t know if he’s aware with what he commented to me. Hope not and I’ll be watching him. You know, I don’t have plenty of time to log in my account. I’m just too busy mommy and blogger. Take note, I don’t accept friend request without clear profile information and proper profile photo. I don’t accept dirty comments or let’s just say, beyond my limitations. Sorry if I can’t get back immediately messages and comments. Stop sending application request etc because I’m not interested. Nice, real, wholesome messages and comments very much appreciated. I even prefer plain words without codes or something but I still accept nice graphics.

It’s not usual to for us to doubt our ability to do good especially when numerous problems block our path. It’s worst when we feel that everything is going wrongly. But the story of Christmas teaches us that with God, the possibilities are endless. All that is required is our whole-hearted trust.

The child who was born on Christmas day is a fulfillment of an age-old promise. The season moves us to reflect on the fact that we can expect our God to be eternally faithful to us. It teaches us that our belief that the Lord can shed light even on the darkest moments of our lives is not foolishness.

Amidst all the glitter of the season, we must not forget that Christmas should be a season of rejoicing not just for ourselves, but for everyone. We are called to actively share our joy. Let us ask our selves how we can make another person’s celebration of Christ’s birth more meaningful this year.

What a lovely day today. So sunny but seemed lonely. Oh maybe just tired. Tired staying at home? Whatever! By 5 o’clock in the afternoon, we went to park? Who we? Of course my precious children. I’m sitting on the bench watching them playing because I’m not in the mood to play? Don’t get me wrong. I play with my kids most of the time like football, taggie, soccer etc. and feel like a kid too! It’s one secret of staying young. Play like a kid, love the children, laugh with them.  While setting on the bench, I look up the sky and yeah it was so lovely. I didn’t hesitate to get my camera and take some snaphots. After being away for a while with this friendster blog of mine, I’m so amazed with this come back. It’s changing and I love the transformation. Friendster blog flatform turn into  wordpress flatform. Not all of you are familiar with wordpress anyway, but still it has something to do with blogging. Majority of my blogs has a wordpress flatform but self hosted.

What a cool idea Friendster. This is really a better change. Frankly, the old one is boring, that’s why I almost give it up. But hey! I like it now. We can be creative as long as we want in a simple way. For now, I’m exploring with what more can I do with all the new features. More power friendster and kudos to all of you. Since I can’t update this blog of mine everyday because of my blogging business, I  humbly announce to my avid readers if I have to follow me in my EVERYDAY LIFE BLOG. I will continue the posting of daily reflections with the said blog because every day I’m there and that is the only way for me to keep on posting. I don’t want to sacrifice what I had started here so better to continue in the most suitable way and suitable place. As of now, it’s my career. I was blessed to be given a chance to earn even if I’m just at home taking care of my family. I am a full time housewife, a mom and at the same time a full time blogger. July 30, ‘08 - At times, God seems to be far away even when we keep praying. We may fear that we have been doomed to face put trials alone. But God’s seeming absence may be an invitation for us to look for Him in unexpected places. The Lord can be full of surprises, and He can love us in unexpected ways.

July 29, ‘08 - We may not realize it, but anxiety can significantly cripple us. Excessive worry over the many details of everyday life can prevent us from fully enjoying the grace we receive. Amidst our tasks and responsibilities, God invites us to take time to pause and renew our trust through prayer.

July 28, ‘08- Oftentimes we belittle the simple acts of kindness that we do. But the Lord urge us to do our ordinary duties extraordinary well. What may seem unimportant for us may actually be life-giving to those around us. God takes our
little works and lovingly transforms in into blessings for others.

July 27, ‘08- A wise man once said that we have really found the Lord if we gasp for air. Indeed, there is no enterprise more profitable than striving to fulfill God’s will in our lives. What’s in store for us? An overflowing abundance of life-sustaining peace.

July 26, ‘08- ‘Home is where the heart it.’ We set our hearts often to a hopeless pursuit of pleasure and instant gratification. Emptiness consume us when we realize we can never be satisfied by material gains alone. Lord, help
me to realize that it is only through You that I can be truly happy.

July 25, ‘08- The words tells us that the spoils belong to the victor. Common sense dictates that we should always strive to be the best version of ourselves.
But the Lord wants us to think differently. That winning isn’t
the most important thing. What matters most is our serve to others.

July 24, ‘08- St. Ignatius of Loyola constantly wanted to do what was more loving - the MAGIS. He had such a deep sense of God’s unconditional love that he was determined to respond generously and wholeheartedly. The Lord invite us to give more, even in our little acts of love. How can you be more loving today?

July 23, ‘08- Work as if everything depends on God and pray as if everything depends on you. The Lord knows that all of us are imperfect. Still, God calls each us to active messengers of the Gospel. God will nor abandon those whom He has called. Lord, give me the strength and courage I need to do Your work.

July 22, ‘08- Our lives are driven by our desires. However,
competing desires may leave us confused and troubles.
The Lord invites us to constantly look into our hearts.
We should always examine our motivations and our deepest
desires. What do I really, really want? Is God at the center
of everything that I do?

July 21, ‘08- In our everyday life, we may fall into the trap of losing our sense of wonder. Experiences may become so ordinary that we no longer see each moment as a miracle from God. The people we meet, the things we accomplish, our simplest joys - all of these are concrete proof of the Lord’s love for us.
and courage

We easily give up on people who are against our own values. Maybe  we’ve learned from experience that we cannot really expect genuine change from those have hurt us. But the Gospel tells us that God is slow to judge and give us every opportunity for conversion. Indeed, God’s mercy is limitless.

July, 19, ‘08- Salt not only seasons –it also preserves. Where hope is lost, or when fervor is lacking, we are  called to be like salt to enhance the lives of many. Lord Jesus, help me not to lose my zest for life. May I always see your goodness in my
daily life, even in moments that I feel bland or bitter. Amen.

July 18, ‘08- Sometimes we become too preoccupied with religions practices that we forget their real meaning. Fasting and sacrifice are important  only insofar as improving our lives. It is not our hunger that Jesus wants. Rather, the Lord asks us to always improve the quality of our love and the way we love others.

July 17, ‘08- We will never run out of problems. Very often, we are easily swamped by obstacles. Such experienced of hopelessness can be terrifying. But are also opportunities for us to be move aware of the Lord’s active presence in us. Unburden yourself before the Lord. Find stillness and rest in Him.

July 16, ‘08- We can get entangled with the many what-ifs in our lives–what are you what–ifs? To hold onto them is to dwell in the past, to live in regret and longing for what is to feed our fears. Remember that as a door closes, another one opens for us. Let  us not miss this door.

July 15, ‘08- The name of our God is Compassion. Those who feel low, He lifts up. Those distant, He draws to His side. The hungry, He fill with good things. The scattered, He gathers. God’s heart goes out to people who are weak and in despair. May we be inspired to be as compassionate and kind to all.

July 14, ‘08- How sincere are you in your words and actions? We are reminded to ’say yes when you mean yes and say no when you mean no.’ (Mt. 5:37) Jesus Himself spoke only the truth and was not afraid to do so. That is why His words had power. They reached deep into hearts of those who listened.

July 13, ‘08- Jesus challenges us to look into our hearts. We know what makes us not see. We know what hinders us from giving ourselves more fully to God. But why is that we continue to hold on to objects and desires that take us father away from Him? Today, beg the Lord to teach you how to give in.

July 12, ‘08- There are destructive patterns in our lives that keep us from truly loving. Surely, we want to get rid of these bad habits and attitudes. But it is never easy to change for the better. We cannot do it by ourselves. We need the Lord’s grace to free us from the prison of our weaknesses and failures.

It’s very easy to have faith and to trust in the Lord when our lives are well. During trying moments, it becomes difficult to believe that Christ continues to love and care for us. Lord , may I never doubt your love. Amidst difficulties that may come, teach me to always trust in you.

July 10, ‘08- Healing goes beyond medicine and machine. Illness injures not only the body, but our innermost selves as well. No pill can repair a broken and downcast spirit. At out darkest moments, we need to feel the Lord’s healing touch. Fortunately, God is ever present, eager to cure what ails our hearts.

July 09, ‘08- God’s Kingdom is marked by much life and abundance. The weak life are made strong and the wanderers are brought together. Those without blessings are invited to join. Do you do the same? God has given you countless gifts, and always remember, they are meant to be shared and given away.

We take pity on those we consider unfortunate. But in God’s eye even those who look unfortunate are still lucky. God invites us to see the world with fresh eyes, to see how He makes things new. What have you been the misfortunates in your life? More importantly, have they led you to your real fortune?

July 6, ‘08- ‘Come to me all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest’. Jesus constantly lays this invitation before us. But many times, we don’t want to let go of our burdens. We’re afraid to entrust them them to Him. What are the things that hinder you from enjoyinh God’s promised peace of mind?

July 5, ‘08- ‘Don’t put new wine on in old wineskins. If you do, the wineskins  will burst and the wine be spilt.’ Jesus makes many things new in us. Following Him means abandoning our old ways. If we welcome Him and want to truly belong to Him, we have to say no to our many comforts and attachments. The Lord offers more!

July 4, ‘08- Jesus asks Matthew the tax collector to follow Him. In the next scene, Matthew is with Jesus who is sorrounded by many tax collector and other sinners–a reminder for all of us. To follow Jesus is to look for those lost, to go out of our way to reach those far away. ‘What  I want is mercy not sacrifice.’
