Taurians….

The angel comes to Mary and announces the good news. She is to be the mother of God’s Son. She doesn’t know what  this means. What she know is that she is God’s servant. She will do what she’s asked to. It’s good to remember we all serve God. May we always  be at the beck and call of the Lord.

March 30, 2008 - The disciples gather behind locked doors because they are afraid. Thomas is locked in desbelief. But Jesus comes to assure them. He stands  in their midst to open their troubled hearts and ease all resistance.
Know that the Lord continues to lend you His hand and is on your side. Resist no longer.

March 29 - On the first Easter weekend, stop and celebrate your own small easters. What new aspirations and directions are springing forth in your life? What burden is the Lord taking away from you? Let the rays of the morning light remind you that His Spirit is blessing your life with His overflowing love.

On our own it can be difficult to catch fish. But when we follow the Lord and throw the net on the right side, we can find some.
We do what we want because we think it’s right. We want our ways because we believe it gets the best results. But when we cast our nets with God we realize we can do so much more.

Jesus invites us to be witnessess, not just spectators but people who show and give evidence to the Good News of salvation. Think of how you have been a witness. How have other lives been enriched by you? How have your words and works, choice and desires helped make the Lord better known and loved?

Mary of Magdala becomes the first messenger of Easter. She goes and tells everyone: I have seen the Lord snd this is what he said to me,’
Our life in the Lord sends us, like Mary, to be bearers of the news. If we have truly experienced the power of His love in our lives, we canot  but share it with all.

‘Peace…Do not be afraid…’
This is what women hear from Jesus when they see Him,
and it calms their fears. It brings them hope and assurance
amid all the things that trouble us on our way, and Jesus meet us.
He consoles us with His presence.
Are you attentive enough to hear Him when He comes?

I am wondering with the date of my daily sharing here. Until I found out that it’s US time. So the date here is late compare from my location here in Australia and my readers in the Philippines because we are almost got the same time, almost huh? We’re still 3 hours advance. If I posted a gospel or inspiration like for example today March 20, the time that will appear is March 19. I don’t know how to change the time format because I guess it’s a default here. But hopefully they will going to make a change.

HAVE A BLESSED HOLY WEEK EVERYONE!!!

In Bethany, Mary anoints Jesus’ feet with costly perfume. ‘It’s excessive,’ Judas complaints. But Mary certainly knows her part–it’s for the Lord and she cannot give anything less. Think of how you give and what you give. If it’s for the Lord who always  loves us lavishly, why should cost matter?

We are called to climbed Calvary with Jesus. Not just to be among the bystanders but to experience the Way of the Cross. This means carrying our own burdens and also making them light for others.
We must not give up even when we fall and falter. We must think of others first, then ourselves next.
