May 11, ‘08 - The disciples are gathered in one house when a rushing wind comes and tongues of fire rest above their heads. it is the Holy Spirit, touching their doubts and fears, filling them with courage and zeal. It’s the same Spirit who inspires them to risk their lives for the Lord.
We pray then: Come Holy Spirit!

May 10, ‘08 - Fr. Damien voluntred to serve the lepr island of Molokai. He knew he could turn into a leper himself but he served night and day even when he caught the disease.

May 9, ‘08 - The Lord call us to look after his lambs. It can be a daunting task, considerring the flock is large and the pastures everywhere. But it helps  to recall we are lambs ourselves, and that He has gathered, sought and carried us home. We have heard the Shepherd’s voice and known His heart!

May 8, ‘08 - After a long drive it helps to make a stop, even a short one. Not only to refuel but also to stretch out and unpack, make sense of the road taken and the road ahead to see how we are moving or what has been moving us.

May 7, ‘07- We always want to feel a sense of belongingness. yet there are times we find ourselves not belonging and our hearts discontented. We hope for  more than what we see and hold. We have to listen to this inner pulse. God may be inviting us to desire Him more and to find in Him our deepest connections.
