5carlota_entryThe Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three distinct Persons in one God. Three but always One. Distinct yet always together. Always co-existing as equals. Our call as Christians is to be one and together amid our difference and diversity. Only in this way can we be persons living in God’s  image and likeness.

May 17, ‘08 - The 3 disciples go up the mountain with Jesus and witness His Transfiguration. But He leads them down the mountain shortly after the event. The 3 experience a ‘high’ that they even wish to stay put. But Jesus brings them to the ground.
Living in the everyday world is the true test of our faith.

May 15, ‘08 - Jesus prays to the Father: ‘All things that are Mine are Yours and Yours are mine. ‘Jn 17:10) Jesus shares this oneness with the Father. The Father’s dreams and hopes are His very own. This intimate relationship comes from deep prayer. Jesus knows the mind and heart of the Father because He constantly prays.

May 14, ‘08 - Our whole lives are an invitation to remain in God’s love. But often we stay away, thinking we’re great sinners to receive His love. Or we stray believing we can find this love in created things. The farther we go, the more we feel the distance within us. Jesus calls us his friends and tells us: Come!

May 13, ‘08 - The miracle of Fatima continues to this day. Thousands of people walk on their knees in the shrine, praying earnestly, begging for healing of the body and soul. It’s the 3 young children who are entrusted the message. A reminder to all to reclaim our being children, by being God’s children and His alone.
